Set all of the TTL values as 86400 (1 day)
Set www or * (wildcard) as an A record not a CNAME.
Do not forget to add a TXT record.

If you want a better Alexa ranking;
Set all of the TTL's as 43200 (12 hours)
Set www as a CNAME
Redirect (301) non-www to www.

Login to your hosting cp (control panel) at godaddy. Click "DNS Manager" on the top navigation bar. It is in the "Settings" drop down menu.

Clear all of the DNS records of your domain.
Add A record for @ and www.
Add MX (mailstore1.secureserver.net) You can remove the other MX record if you redirect your emails to your yahoo, gmail, etc. email accounts.
Add TXT (v=spf1 a mx include:secureserver.net ~all)

6 DNS records are enough and secure for a typical domain:
2 A records for www and non-www
1 MX record to receive emails
1 TXT record to determine who can send emails.
2 nameserver records.
