Hiding and uninstalling toolbars:
We will notice that more and more tool bars will appear in our browser as we start surfing or installing some programs. These unwanted toolbars will reduce the window space for us to browse. Whenever we surf the internet a new tool bar will arrive in our browser. This article will tell you on to remove the tool bar and thereby increasing your window space.
Hiding the tool bar in IE:
1) Open your browser.
2) Right click on the empty tool bar.
3) You can see the list of the tool bars installed.
4) Uncheck on the tool bar to hide, or if you want to see the tool bar again then uncheck it.
Uninstalling a tool bar in IE:
1) Go to start>control panel> add or remove programs.
2) Here you can see the list of programs installed, simply click on the program which you want to remove. Then you can see two options change/remove.
3) Click on remove the program will be uninstalled.
Unable to hide or uninstall:
If you can’t uninstall or hide the tool bar, then it might be associated with the spyware. Always you must be careful before you install something.
Hiding a toolbar in Firefox:
1) Open the browser.
2) Click on view>toolbars. Here you can see the list of the toolbars installed.
3) Then uncheck on the tool bar which you want to hide. You can unhide the tool bar by checking on the same menu.
Uninstalling a tool bar in Firefox:
1) Open the browser.
2) Click on the tools>Add-ons. It will display all the current Add-ons which you have installed on the browser.
3) Click on the toolbar which you need uninstall and you can see two options, disable/uninstall.
4) Click on the uninstall option to remove the add-on.
Unable to hide or uninstall:
Firefox is not susceptible to spywares like internet explorer. So if you can’t find the option in the toolbar then go to start>control panel>add or remove programs to uninstall it.
Hiding toolbars in Opera:
1) Open the browser.
2) Click on the view option>toolbar. You can see the list of toolbars installed.
3) Simply uncheck on the toolbar which you want to hide. Check it if you need it back.
Uninstalling toolbars in opera:
1) Open the browser.
2) Click on tools>preferences>advanced tab>toolbars.
3) Select the tool bar and click on delete to uninstall.
Unable to hide or uninstall:
Opera is also resistant like firefox and is not easily affected by the spywares like Internet explorer. If you didn’t find the option here, then click on start>control panel>add or remove programs. Click on the toolbar and click uninstall
